ATreatment of personal data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (data subject).The processing is only lawful if at least one of the following requirements has been met:
· the data subject has agreed to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more purposes;· the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or the performance of pre-contractual measures;
· the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation on the part of the controller;
· the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party. The controller has a legitimate interest, for example, if the data subject is a customer or is employed by the controller;

Personal data is usually collected directly from the data subject and processed for business relations and contains contact data (name of contact person, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address…)

Description of recipient groups
· Internal recipients are usually the result of the purpose being pursued (e.g. contract performance, complaints, HR management)
· External recipients are usually the result of legal and contractual requirements (e.g. banks, tax authorities)

Standard periods for deletion of personal data
We delete personal data once the statutory and contractual retention periods have expired.
If no such retention periods apply, the relevant data will be deleted once the stated purposes have ceased to exist.

Transmission of personal data to third countries
Usually we do not transmit personal data to a third country. However, if we do transmit personal data to a third country, either an adequacy decision of the EU, consent, binding corporate rules or existing EU standard data protection clauses will apply.

Right to information
Data subjects are entitled to request confirmation from the controller whether or not their personal information is being processed.
To this end, Chemson Polymer-Additive AG provides an overview of the processing purposes, the categories of processed personal data and the relevant recipients or categories.

Rights of rectification, deletion and restriction of processing
Under Art.16 GDPR, the data subject has the right to demand from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed.
Under Art.17 GDPR, the data subject has the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, unless another legal requirement precludes erasure.
Under Art.18 GDPR, the data subject has the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing if:

· the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject;
· the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead;
· the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
· the data subject objects to the processing in accordance with Art.21 GDPR

Right to withdraw consent
The data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to object
The data subject has the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her at any time. In such cases, Chemson Polymer – Additive AG will cease processing the relevant personal data unless Chemson Polymer-Additive AG can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Right to lodge a complaint
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes this Regulation. The competent supervisory authority for Chemson Polymer – Additive AG. is the Austrian Data Protection Authority
